Time Will Tell…It Always Does.

If you ask me, relationships are an interesting phenomena. Two people meet, they like what they see and they usually make- what I like to call an “electrifying connection” that makes both simply want to bond forever! Well, at least that’s the initial hope. The bond really is a synergy that is unique to the pair.  Funny thing though, most people want to solidify the connection immediately with “commitment” i.e, girlfriend, boyfriend, fiance’ etc.

I’m definitely not the one to say love at first site isn’t possible. In fact, I’ve experienced it first hand.  My thought is that sometimes an instant connection really could last a lifetime…it happens. It’s happened! However, let’s be fair here and really truthful. So called love at first sight can also reveal some telling truths about a person sooner rather than later. Those truths can often result to not being very conducive to your values or ideology of love and relationships.

Given the fact we live in a world of instant gratification, we want what we want when we want it… NOW!  This doesn’t just pertain to luxury items, name brand clothing, jewelry, etc. Many have adopted the “microwave” approach  with feeble attempts at love and relationships too! And we wonder why single and divorce percentages are at an all time high.

Next time you meet someone and the “synergy” is feeling “right”, be fair to yourself. I mean really be fair to yourself and allow time for the connection to develop into a quality relationship. Give yourself a chance to enjoy the process of learning your new found interest…it’ll pay off in the long run… time will tell.

Keep Love Simple.
