Finding A Man Your New Year Resolution?

Happy New Year! It’s the year 2011 and you’re ready for new adventures, fresh starts, and out with old and looking for…a MAN? NOT!

The very last thing you want to do (especially as a resolution) is set out on a “man mission”. You’ll likely unearth nothing but trouble and more heartbreak if you go looking for love in all of the wrong places—especially the same places you’ve always looked. Sure, you may enjoy yourself along the journey to Mr. 2011 but when you set the intention of finding a man, you’ll leave nothing certain about the ‘romantic’ law of attraction except the certainty of attracting more knuckleheads.

Here’s my suggestion—focus on YOU! Now I don’t mean for you to sink yourself into your career, disconnecting from social society and sending your surrogate body into the world as you compulsively fabricate a bond with your iPAD, the Starbucks drive-thru and your favorite reality show.

What I do mean is I want you to think about how you’re going to be good to yourself in 2011 starting today, this very moment. Here’s what I want you to do; grab a small sheet of paper, (a post-it note) and write down 3 characteristics about yourself that you want to enhance in your life (i.e., your attitude about dating, communication skills with friends/family, scheduling quality time for self time etc.) Once you’ve put some good thought into your 3 areas of growth, post it on your bathroom mirror, or the refrigerator (some place where you will see it first thing every day) and commit to one for the entire day. As you rotate and embrace each feature, I can assure you that the inner you will radiate and everyone will notice it, therefore, attracting like energy into your improved world and repelling the “bad guys”.

Most women say they didn’t find love—love found them. And when they went searching for love they always found heartache instead. Taking well deserved time to get into you and do some personal “house cleaning” is essential to clearing the heart and mind of emotional and psychological baggage. Doing so will open the door to the Universe to attract self fulfillment, prosperity and a warm loving space for Mr. Right.
